Howard Goberstein is more than the typical animal lover. He is actually a known advocate for animals, especially the canine species. Howard Goberstein knows that the recession has pushed a lot of dog owner to put their dogs up for adoption. For those who can be categorized under this category, Howard Goberstein would like to tell them that they have to be sure that whoever gets their dog from them will actually be caring towards the animal.

To do so, they can simply observe the buyer’s body language because it reflects a lot about the true personality of a particular individual. In fact, people can say something and yet mean something else. Body language is a great indicator for what is truly in a person’s heart and mind.

Howard Goberstein just does not want dogs to be in the wrongs hands, such as those of Class B dealers. Class B dealers are those who purchase dogs from the black market so that they can earn some money from various research facilities.

These facilities are merely interested in conducting a series of experiments on the dogs, poking needles and opening them up to view their internal organs. In short, they will be used and abused in every way imaginable.

Justin Povick is a broadcast meteorologist at AccuWeather. He joined the AccuWeather team in March 2008 after spending some time forecasting in the Southern Plains. He loves the variety that AccuWeather gives him.

Justin Povick also feels blessed to have found an amazing church like Calvary Baptist where the Sunday night services are always inspirational. He is also a member of the leadership team called ThirdPlace, a community of 20 to 30-year-old Christians who like to have a place to connect with others in the community through various activities http://www.calvarysc.org/thirdplace . Community service activities are very important to them. Through ThirdPlace, Justin Povick found the opportunity to volunteer in nursing homes. During visits, they offer prayer or words of encouragement for the elderly residents.  Volunteering is a big part of Justin Povick’s life and he receives so much in return.  Aside from his volunteer work in nursing homes, he also volunteers once or twice a week in the Centre County PAWS.

Conrad Phillip Seghers is also an avid outdoor enthusiast.  One of his passions is running marathons.  He has now completed eleven of them, in locations ranging from Dallas, Austin and Oklahoma in the Texas area, to the New York marathon and San Diego marathon and Chicago marathon on the national arena, all the way to the Paris marathon and Singapore marathon on the international stage.  His best time was in the Austin marathon, which had a favorable downhill slope with the rolling hills of the Hill Country region of Texas, to his worst time being the Singapore marathon where the heat and humidity stifled the runners.

World travel is another passion of Conrad Phillip Seghers.  He has travelled multiple times to all continents except Antarctica, with the reason being that in Ushuaia in southern Argentina on the island of Tierra del Fuego he had the chance for a $20,000 trip to Antarctica on a private charter jet, which he instead passed on in favor of going standby on a military transport plane for $2,000.  At the last moment a military spouse and her child appeared at the airport, and with the military spouse receiving priority Conrad Phillip Seghers was denied his chance to visit Antarctica.

Another of his passions is kayaking.  Conrad Phillip Seghers owns multiple boats and his rivers have ranged from deadly ravines throughout the United States in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico and California.  He has even paddled with members of the U.S. Olympic team.  Internationally he has paddled in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama and Laos.

As a Research Fellow/Associate Scientist in Cell Biology and Genetics from 1985-1994, and then again in 2007, Conrad P Seghers studied cells with defects in their ability to synthesize proteins funded by a nationwide competitive fellowship he was awarded by the Howard Hughes Institute, at some point within this period. He has also completed a five-year gene cloning and stress protein testing study at the Department of Biochemistry of the University of Texas.

Conrad P Seghers has performed medical research on recombinant tissue plasminogen activator at the University of Louvain in Belgium, as well as on the reuse of hemodialyzers at Texas A&M University, and on heat shock proteins at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical center.  Several publications have resulted.

Conrad P Seghers assisted the 1994 Nobel Laureate in Medicine, Dr. Al Gilman, in a study of G-proteins. The University of Louvain in Belgium made him an Invited Researcher to study tissue plasminogen activator – a blood-thinning pharmaceutical agent. Along the way, he became fluent in Flemish on top of his native English. Conrad P Seghers was also an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Texas A & M University. In this capacity, he performed dialysis on patients and analyzed the efficacy of reusing dialyzers in renal disease patients.

Dr. Seghers has traveled extensively all over Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America and Australia.

Patrick McEachen has already committed to playing at the NCAA Division 1 level at Clarkson University. Even though he lives in Stouffville, which is in Ontario, he does not mind attending university south of the border, which is located in Potsdam, New York. The Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL is also pleased to announce that their defenseman has been named team captain.

Patrick McEachen’s role model is his own cousin, who happens to be a professional hockey player. He is inspired by his cousin’s insights and he has also learned a few hockey tricks from him.

Patrick McEachen is very skilled and dedicated in what he does.  He was named team captain even though he is only seventeen years old. He feels confident that he can hold his own even when matched against bigger older players because of his abilities.

He was also chosen to play for Team East for the CJAHL Prospects game back in 2008. Another team Patrick McEachen played on is the Central Division All Star Team in the Battle of Ontario.

Conrad Seghers traveled to the Cameron Highlands and loved it right at the moment he arrived. He believes that it is a nice place to relieve himself off the heat and to experience the lush interior of Malaysia. Its being one of the top vacation spots in Malaysia is most likely affected by the fact that is has one of the finest climates in the entire Southeast Asia.

Apart from being a beautiful and breathtaking vacation spot, its wonderful climate is also a reason why it was selected as a hill station back during the British colonial times. Conrad Seghers even spent most of his days admiring and experiencing nature. He played with the butterflies, smelled orchids and checked out the waterfalls.

Cameron Highlands had a huge number of hiking trails. Conrad Seghers personally tried some of them for his daytime walks into the forest. There were short-paved trails for shorter expeditions. To avoid getting lost, Conrad Seghers purchased a trail map from the information center located in Tanah Rata. This trail map did not just show where the trail is located, but it also indicated the level of difficulty a certain trail had. For instance, if it said that a particular trail was only for the muscular, tourists best believe it.

Byron Rainer’s inspiration in everything he does and every endeavor he undertakes comes from the love of his three children whom he deeply adores. The birth of his two boys and his daughter has given him some of his proudest moments. Although he works hard for them, he makes sure that he spends as much time with his children as he can. He sets a good example for them and instills in them values that would make them happy and productive citizens.

Byron Rainer works an average of 12 hours each day at O. Turner & Company, LLC so as his children would lack for nothing. This is true especially in the area of education, because he knows that education is the foundation of every person’s future. Not every parent, however, can or will do as he does, nor every child have access to the same opportunities as his children do.

Thus, Byron Rainer volunteers his time and resources to a Florida and Washington, D.C.-based non-profit organization called Education Advantage Foundation. He does this so that he can give back his blessings to others, to instill in his children the value of education and to set a good example for them. Along with parents like Byron Rainer, education professionals and corporate leaders, Education Advantage Foundation works toward expanding opportunities for children via academic enrichment. In kindergarten, Bruce Drago won his first street fight. He overwhelmed his enemies in the hundreds of brutal street brawls he’s been in over the years, never losing in any street fight. In a matter of mere seconds, a total of 97 of these ended with his enemies sprawled unconscious. He took down 60 street-hardened men in a vicious two-hour fight “witnessed and verified” by others in one of these fights. In the practice and teaching of street-fighting, he brings his many years of training as a professional martial artist and as an undefeated fighter.

In less than one minute, Bruce Drago can crush any fighter, trained in any system of martial arts. Defeating multiple attackers – which is the usual strategy used by gangs – is his specialty. He has picked apart all his martial arts training – picking up the useful while throwing away the useless stuff – and perfected the simpler and deadlier aspects into a fighting strategy all his own, making his enemies’ weapons ineffectual and even when he’s unarmed. Many people, including ex-Special Ops guys before they head overseas on their assignments, have been trained by Bruce Drago.

Bruce Drago has been studying martial arts since he was five years old. He has multiple black belts in Korean and Japanese martial arts and is a member of the International Black Belt Hall of Fame. In 2002-’03, he was certified as an expert in Krav Maga – the Israeli Defense System of contact combat based on the street-fighting skills developed by Imi Lichtenfeld. Bruce has been in the fitness industry for 30 years. His street fight videos are available at: http://www.totalvid.com/searchResults.cfm?strSearch=%22Bruce%20Drago%22
